About Brandon

Brandon Lamar Simmons was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He began by playing trumpet in multiple jazz bands, and has moved on to play drums in various bands as well. Brandon is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. At age 18, he decided to pick up a guitar, take on the microphone, and perform as a singer/songwriter. Brandon studied music production and recording engineering at the Atlanta Institute of Music. Now, he's back in Charleston as the drummer for a local band by the name of Token Mary and also continues to work on solo music and any other musical opportunities he can get his hands on!

Thursday with Token Mary at KC Mulligans in North Charleston from 10pm-1:30am

Friday singing and strumming solo at Kickin Chicken in West Ashley from 9pm-12am

Saturday with Token Mary at Tail Race Tavern in Moncks Corner from 9:30pm-1am!
