Brandon Lamar Simmons was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He began by playing trumpet in multiple jazz bands, and has moved on to play drums in various bands as well. Brandon is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. At age 18, he decided to pick up a guitar, take on the microphone, and perform as a singer/songwriter. Brandon studied music production and recording engineering at the Atlanta Institute of Music. Now, he's back in Charleston as the drummer for a local band by the name of Token Mary and also continues to work on solo music and any other musical opportunities he can get his hands on!

CDs
As I am sitting here burning copies of demo CDs to hand out at gigs, I came across this article from Rolling Stone Magazine. Obviously, every medium will have its pros and cons. What do you think?
