About Brandon

Brandon Lamar Simmons was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. He began by playing trumpet in multiple jazz bands, and has moved on to play drums in various bands as well. Brandon is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. At age 18, he decided to pick up a guitar, take on the microphone, and perform as a singer/songwriter. Brandon studied music production and recording engineering at the Atlanta Institute of Music. Now, he's back in Charleston as the drummer for a local band by the name of Token Mary and also continues to work on solo music and any other musical opportunities he can get his hands on!

Coming up this week!



Token Mary will be playing two shows this week.  

The first is their recurring gig this Thursday, and every Thursday, at KC Mulligans in North Charleston from 10p-1:30p.

They will also be playing at Southside 17 in West Ashley Friday Night, March 13 from 9p-12p.

Come out and support Brandon and his bandmates, while you rock out to some awesome music!
